We bid farewell to Jessie James Taylor (Brundidge, Alabama), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Jessie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olene Clark Taylor and Lester Taylor; his brothers, Robert Taylor and Frankie Taylor; and his wife Charlene Grissett Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Johnson (Richard) and James Taylor; his grandson Matthew Reeves; and his stepgranddaughters, Kelly Dady (Will) and Katherine Ingalls (Matthew). He is also survived by two step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (5711 Co Rd 114, Brundidge, AL 36010). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the New Hope Senior Center, 2192 County Road 124, Brundidge, AL 36010.
