She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Jerry Shiver; her parents, Furnie Johnston and Louise Johnston; her brother Dr. Furnie Johnston Jr. The; and her caregivers, Cassandra Lowery, Joann Clayton, Ramona McClure, Valerie Burgan, Tawanna Lowery, Lois Carter, Myrtle Pritchett and Marion Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Shiver (Donna), Ann Bagley (Mike) and Phillip Shiver; her grandchildren, Melanie Vickery (Brian), Stephanie Lambert (Jayme) and Jared Shiver (Alexa Grace); and her great grandchildren, Madison Vickery, Avonlea Campbell, Nora Lambert and Clara Lambert.
