She was predeceased by: her husband William W. Carmichael; her daughter Delisa J. Hammons; her parents, Rev. Phillip S. Woody and Katherine I. Cramer Woody; and her siblings, Phillip H. Woody, Hobert F. Woody, Doyle Woody and Lila Forgey.
She is survived by: her sister Hazel Johnson; and her children, Yvonne O'Linger, Carmen Gore (Brad), Eddy Griffin (Nina) and Jason Griffin (Jennifer). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Chapel Cemetery (Corner of Co. Road, 91 & Co Rd 678, Bryant, AL 35958).
