Linda left this world on October 22, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Edith McLemore O'Neal; her son Carl E. "Bud" Guffey III; her siblings, Brenda Staton, William Franklin O'Neal Jr. and Ruth Harding; and her aunt Frances Pockrus.
She is survived by: her husband Carl E. Guffey Jr.; her children, Michael Guffey (Sara), Shawn Guffey (Kim) and Terry Clark (Doug); her nephew Brent Staton; her daughter-in-law Jody Talley; and her grandchildren, Dani Pannell (Logan), Hali Guffey, Shawn Guffey and Kevin Guffey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
