He is survived by: his mother Betty Jo Nelson (Kilgore); his children, Heath Nelson (Misty) and Heather Derryberry (Joe); his grandchildren, Courtney Hill (Jamie), Forrest Derryberry (Ali), Asher Derryberry, Keegan Nelson (Satori) of Keelie Nelson, P. J. and Angela Hayes; his great grandchildren, Aiden Ezra Hill and Addison Hayes; his siblings, Dennis Nelson (Susan), Debbie Matthews (Jeff) and Angela Holt; and his sister-in-law Tina Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
