He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Howard and Ada Gray Howard; and his siblings, Willie Mae Bishop, Patsy, Charles, Jimmy, Ricky and Allen Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Higdon Howard; his children, Jeff Howard and Melissa Shelton (Craig); his grandchild Casey Shelton; and his sister Teresa Michaels (Rayburn Burns).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:45 PM at the Moore Funeral Home - Bryant (1474 AL-73, Bryant, AL 35958). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Memorial Park (1474 AL-73, Bryant, AL 35958).
