With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernestine Hearn Allen of Butler, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ernest Hearn and Susie Jackson Kelley Hearn; and her siblings, Doris Pauline Greeson, Leroy Hearn and Garland Hearn.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Pete" Miller Allen; her children, Tina Gay Allen (Robert) and Richard Timothy Allen (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Ashley Morgan, Brad Allen (Kaitlyn), Kelley Becton Morgan (Drew), Jared Allen, Drew Allen (Caitlin), Fred Clarke (Danielle) and Rhiannon Clarke (Ernie); and her great grandchildren, Madi Allen, Kelynn Allen, Ruby Nunn, Dillon Clarke, Sawyer Clarke, Miller Nunn, Naomi Manzow, June Mersinger, Declan Allen, Hal Allen and Georgie Mersinger. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel (302 Vanity Fair Ave, Butler, AL 36904). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
