He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Ruby Lee Hendley; his wife Charlotte Diane Lucas Hendley; his daughter Stacey Amanda Hendley; and his siblings, Katherine Taylor, Ruby Grace Gordon, John Hendley, Jr., J. W. Hendley, Nelson Hendley, Billy Joe Hendley and Tim Hendley.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Hendley Inhulsen (Bert); his grandson Brett Montgomery Boykin; and his sisters, Anna Virginia Davis, Marilyn Long, Lillie Williams and Mitzi Bounds. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
