McDonald of Butler, Alabama, born in Union, Mississippi, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert F. McDonald and Lucille May McDonald; his son William Scott McDonald; and his sister Rose Waite. He is survived by : his wife Elma Dean McDonald; his children, Willard Evan McDonald (Shelley) and Leigh Ann Cummings (Stacy); his grandchildren, Robert L. "Page" McDonald, Warren Cummings, Samuel Cummings, Hayes Ellis and Wilkes Ellis; and his siblings, Harold McDonald (Susan), Linda Beard, Mary Ann Brashier (Mack) and Lucy Keene (Lindsey).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Butler at PO Box 300, Butler, Alabama 36904.
