She was predeceased by: her husband Ganes Michael Acton; her parents, Ira Moorhead and Sarah Ellen Moorhead; and her sister Shirley Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Pope (Willie), Michele Blackburn (Bill), Shayne Acton (Angela) and Kelley Whatley (Howard); her grandchildren, Coleman Pope, Morgan Pope Milstead (Andy), Mallory Pope Stewart (Nathan), Trey Whatley (Nellie), Autumn Acton, Thomas Whatley (Jessica) and Hunter Acton; her stepgrandchildren, Bill Blackburn (Melissa), Jessica Hall, Daniel Blackburn (Meghan) and Lindsey Justice (John); her great grandchildren, John William Milstead, Jack Everett Milstead, Anna Claire Whatley and Ganes Stewart; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Will Blackburn, Ryleigh Hall, Judson Hall, Reece Anne Hall, Grey Blackburn, Henry Blackburn, Banks Justice, Jones Justice and Birdie Justice; and her sister Daisy Perrigin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and twelve grand dogs.
