He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice J. Glass and William Wesley Armstrong Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Stacie Mullins (Sean) of Alabaster, Harrison Armstrong of Vestavia Hills and Anna Armstrong of Vestavia Hills; his grandchildren, Gavyn Noss of Tuscaloosa and Gracelyn Rice of Pelham; and his siblings, Kenneth Armstrong (Chelsea), Nancy Goodwin of Houston, TX and Robyn Shultz (Pelham).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in his name to either St. Jude (for the purpose of finding more cures for more kids) or the Birmingham Veterans Association Medical Center for indented use of dementia research.
