With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Michael Wakefield of Calera, Alabama, who passed away on September 12, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, TJ Wakefield and Betty Wakefield; his granddaughter Megan Pacheco; his nephew Thomas Walton; his brothers-in-law, Fredrick McMaster (Bibi) and Frank Walton; and also Jesse Shirley.

He is survived by : his wife Anne Christine Wakefield; his daughters, Tina Olson (Roger) and Charity Lewis (Andrew); his grandchildren, Zack Pacheco, Austin Gidden, Dylan Olson, Logan Olson and Ellie Olson; his siblings, Clayton Wakefield, Timothy Wakefield (Andrea), Cathy Walton, Rosa McMaster, Paula Barker (Billy), Mia Horton (Paul), Suzette Baker (Russ), Shelia Allen (Pete), Stephanie McNeal (Paul) and Valerie Lemley (Clay); and his sister-in-law Linda Bristow (Larry). He is also survived by his 14 nephews, 14 nieces, 12 great nephews, 19 great nieces, 2 great-great: 1 nephew, 1 niece.
