Donald leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Donald’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Garrett; his brother Douglas Garrett; and his son-in-law James Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Smith; his grandchildren, Kelsea Littleton (Blake) and Brooke Smith; and his great grandchildren, Emery, Ensleigh and Ellie Littleton.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Charter Funeral Home (2521 US-31, Calera, AL 35040).
