He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Tidwell and Ruby Tidwell; his sisters, Katherine Owens (Joe) and Tommie Hernandez (Raul); and his brothers-in-law, Irby Pope and Tony Hobson.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Tidwell; his children, Lisa Tidwell (Scott Murray), Arthur Tidwell and Gary Tidwell (Melissa); his grandchildren, Alex Tidwell (Merissa), Wes Murray, Avery Murray Davis (Joel) and Melissa Richardson (Chase); and his sisters-in-law, Nina Pope and Flo Hobson. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
