He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Smitherman and John Dedman; his sister Sheila Smitherman; and his grandson Bryan Wiggins. He is survived by: his wife Carol Dedman; his children, Joseph Dedman (Nelly Dedman), Mark Dedman, Karen Beasley, Jennifer Hobbs and John Dedman; his sisters, Nita Summerlin (David Summerlin), Gina LeCroy (Randy LeCroy) and Lisa Davis (Doyle Davis); and his friend Quinton Prickett. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous extended family members and dear friends.
