She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Lawley Smith and Clifton Smith; and her brothers, Clifton "Junior" Smith and David Smith. She is survived by: her husband Terry Carr; her children, Brenda Thomas (Rodney), Linda Lucas (Daniel) and Terry E. Carr (Beverly); and her siblings, Karen Martin (Chris Berryhill), Tammy Vanderslice (George), Mary Ann Barker, Tommy Smith and James Lloyd Smith. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
