He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Virginia Josephine Larizzo; his son Lauren P. Emerine II; his parents, Louella Dapp Emerine and Paul E. Emerine; his brother Dennis D. Emerine; his grandsons, Paul J. Wilhems (Harmony), Andrew L. Wilhems (Jenna), Chandler L. Emerine (Lauren), Pierce R. Emerine and Carson W. McKinney; his great grandchildren, Annika R. Wilhems, Maggie Josephine Wilhems, Dalton F. Wilhems, Bodhi C. Wilhems and Weston B Wilhems; and his brother Larry E Emerine (Jeremy).
