He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Mitchell Phillips Sr. and Frances Kathryn Dunn Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Susan Phillips; his children, Laura Dienes-Oehm and Robert Neil Phillips Jr.; his brother Howard Mitchell Phillips Jr. (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Gregory Duro Brown, Mary Elizabeth Franks (Justin) and Mitchell Owen Aeden Phipps; and his great grandchild Arden Bain Franks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
