It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Lynn Nichols (Calera, Alabama), who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Steve leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Steve may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. Nichols and Pauline Mitchell Nichols; and his brothers, David Nichols, Bobby Nichols (Becky) and Paul Nichols.
He is survived by: his son Jamie Nichols; his siblings, Sharon Hopkins and Shelton Nichols; and his grandson Michael Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
