He was predeceased by: his parents, John Staggs and Christine Staggs of Clanton, AL; his brothers, John, Douglas, Randy and Larry; and his son Gerald (late Janet).
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Carroll Dixon Staggs; his children, Terry Wydra (Adam) and Larry Craddock (Lauren); and his brother Richard Staggs (Deb). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
