It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved June Jarrell of Calvert, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 93, on April 24, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Smith and Emma Mae Smith; her husband Lonnie P. Jarrell; her sisters, Betty Blount and Emma Jean Bailey (Pud); her son John Edwin Jarrell (Johnny); and her daughter-in-law Terri Sue Jarrell.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Jarrell (Bernice), Ronnie Jarrell (Nancy), Penny Sullivan (Tim), Melinda Bailey (Bill) and Mike Jarrell; her siblings, Frances Kellam and D. O. Smith, Jr. (Barbara); and her friends, Pauline and Ray Moseley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calvert Church of the Nazarene (51 Hwy 43, Mount Vernon, AL 36560). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Of the Nazarene Cemetery (51 Hwy 43, Mount Vernon, AL 36560).
In lieu of flowers, nothing would make her happier than for donations to be sent in her memory to the Calvert Church of the Nazarene and designated for "Missions".
