It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayland J. Smith of Camden, Alabama, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Willie J. Smith and Stella Myrick Smith; and his son Robert W. Smith. He is survived by : his wife Mary Nell Bailey Smith; his son James David Smith (Rita); his grandchildren, Candice Caylor (Jack), Ilona Smith and Travis Jackson Smith; and his great grandchild Matison Nell Murphy.
