She is survived by : her husband Richmond Anthony; her mother Christine Griffin Smith; her siblings, Cathy Bridges, Sheree Fitzpatrick (Jeremiah), David Lewis Griffin (Robin), Warren O'Neal Griffin and Norman Griffin (Kendra); her sisters-in-law, Fairy Mae Ross, Mary Fleetion, Ella Mae Fitzpatrick and Geraldine Ware; her aunts, Josephine Roberts, Clemmie Holloway, Shirley Simpson (Willie), Annette Smitherman (Lesley) and Gail McCray (Titus); her uncle Tony Sims (Elaine); and her cousin Keshia Gross. She is also survived by cousin, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the New Canaan Missionary Baptist Church (26403 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Camp Hill, AL 36850). A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at the same location.
