She is survived by: her daughter Doris Beals (Printes); her sister Florene Bivens; her siblings-in-law, Lillie M. Lockhart, Dorothy Smith of Opelika, Mary Reeder of Camp Hill, Alabama and Joe F. Stroud of Dadeville; and her nieces, Phyllis O'neal, Jasmine O'neal and Kiersten Claxton.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Murray Chapel A. M. E. Zion Church (98 Brummitt St, Camp Hill, AL 36850). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Mt. Lovely Baptist Church Cemetery (21900 Sen Claude Pepper Dr, Camp Hill, AL 36850).
