He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Greer, Mary Greer (Raymond) of Opelika, AL, Rodney Greer (Cassandra) of Dadeville, AL, Brad Greer of Opelika, AL, Steven Moore of Mobile, AL and Pamela Greer (James) of Camp Hill, AL; and his siblings, John Lewis Greer (Linda), David Greer, Betty Vines (Bobby) of LaFayette, AL and Brenda Simpson (Albert) of LaFayette, AL. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Ozias Missionary Baptist Church (13576 Dudleyville Rd, Camp Hill, AL 36850).
