He is survived by: his wife Barbara Vines of Camp Hill, AL; his children, Paulette Sheree Robinson of Napersville, IL, Shasta Vines of Camp Hill, AL and Claudette Vines of Camp Hill, AL; his grandchildren, Treston Vines, LaShasta Presley, Franchester Presley, Diamond Robinson and Dreson Vines; his great grandchild Abrielle Doss; his mother-in-law Mattie Greathouse of Camp Hill, AL; his siblings-in-law, Clarence Greathouse (Mary) of Dadeville, AL, Roy Frank Greathouse (Annie Jean) of Opelika, AL, Stanley Greathouse of Camp Hill, AL, Gary Greathouse (Alma) of Dayton, OH, Gloria Williams of Camp Hill, AL, Linda Greathouse of Dayton, OH and Carolyn Russell (Jimmy) of Camp Hill, AL; his cousin Fannie Scott; his sibling's children, Douglas Holston and Frances Allen; and his caregivers, Mary Greathouse and Michael Veasley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (4793 County Rd 89 S, Camp Hill, AL 36850).
