It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael L. Askew of Camp Hill, Alabama, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his mother Mary D. Askew of Camp Hill, AL; his wife Tambly Askew of Camp Hill, AL; his children, Tykeith Askew of Alexander City, AL and Telia Askew of Camp Hill, AL; his grandchild Sovani Askew of Alexander City, AL; his aunts, Jessie Hardy of Pensacola, FL, Annie Knight of Fort Myers, FL and Carolyn Scott of Reeltown, AL; his uncle Larry Moss of Dadeville, AL; and his close friends, Terence Odem and Roderick Daniels. He is also survived by cousins, great aunts, uncles, classmates, other relatives and friends.
