He is survived by: his wife Mae Doris Ross; his daughters, Jacqueline Perry, Brenda Preston (Donald), Carol DeSilva Hamilton (Tony), Temeki Tolbert and Tracey Wilson of San Antonio, TX; and his sisters, Lillian Stevens of Elyria, OH, Emma Ross of LaFayette and Bessie Madden (Tony) of LaFayette. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
