He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Dozier and Cratus Garner Dozier; and his brother Charles Ray Dozier. He is survived by: his wife Diann Dozier; his children, Virgil Dozier (Christy), Randall Honeycutt (Sandy) and Karla Swindle (Scott); and his sisters, Ann Hendrix (John), Brenda Owens (Floyd) and Blanche Shelton (Tommy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
