It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry McDonald of Carbon Hill, Alabama, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John McDonald and Mary McDonald; his siblings, Charles McDonald, Louise Alexander, Margaret Pendley and Virgina Nicholas; his daughter Robin Mullis; his son-in-law Louie Sandlin; and his siblings-in-law, Gaynes L. Chavis, James Chavis and Linda Chavis.

He is survived by : his wife Ada Jane McDonald; his daughter Regina Clowers (Todd) of Eldridge; his stepdaughters, Lynly Sandlin of Carbon Hill and Pat Earnest (Billy) of Carbon Hill; his sons, Gary McDonald of Semi Valley, CA, Rick McDonald of Carbon Hill and Scott McDonald of Carbon Hill; his stepson Mark Trimm (Catrina); his sisters, Alma Vanderlinden of Huntsville and Betty Aldridge of Owens Crossroads; his grandchildren, Brian McDonald, Jessica McDonald, Brandon Mullis, Timmothy Mullis, Amy Mullis, Joseph Peltz, Skyla Hurst, Julie McDonald, Waylon McDonald, Phoenix McDonald, Anna Earnest, Gabby Sandlin, Kinley Sandlin, April T. Hart (Ryan) and Aaron Trimm; and his great grandchildren, Aiden McDonald, Bryar Peltz, Ryder Peltz, Stevie Peltz and Aelish Hart.
