It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Nix of Carbon Hill, Alabama, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Nix and Beula Nix; and his siblings, Billy, Kenneth Nix and Doris Nix Morris.

He is survived by : his daughters, Shannon Nix Jones of Carbon Hill and Jamie Nix (Freddrick) of Jasper; his sisters, Edith Nix Bridgmon of Carbon Hill, Joyce Nix Tucker (Audrie) of Carbon Hill and Gayla Nix of Carbon Hill; his sister-in-law Willie Nix of Jasper; his close friend Debra Nix; and his grandchildren, Trystan Weaver, Aleeah Nix and Jaydah Jones.
