He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzo Davis and Pearl Stokes Davis; and his siblings, I. L. Davis Jr., Verner Davis and Mary Ruth Davis McNeill.

He is survived by: his wife Audie Jackson Davis; his sons, John Morris Davis (Jennifer Liles Davis) and James Kenneth Davis; his granddaughters, Erika Davis and Jenny Lynn Davis; and his great grandchild Emma. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Morris's memory to First Baptist Church Carbon Hill for the Albert Lofton Ministry Building, or to a charity or church of your choosing.
