He was predeceased by : his wife Ila Fay Shedd; his children, Thomas Lee Green and Brenda Gail Shedd; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Renea Green and Christopher Lee Cain; his parents, James William Shedd and Mary Edna Prescotte; and his stepsister Dorothy Prescotte.

He is survived by : his children, Danny Ray Green, Readi Fay Dusseau (Bob), Willard Shedd, Jr., Doris Ann Banks (Dean), James William Shedd and Crystal Fay Pratt (Rodney); and his siblings, William Shedd (Mary), Thelma Newman (Ron), Lavonne Diaz (Lou), James Edward Shedd (Jane), Judy Yocum (Neal) and Loretta Roberts (Terry).
