It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Ann Smith of Carrollton, Alabama, born in Gordo, Alabama, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Earl Smith, Sr.; her sisters, Louise Lancaster, Beatrice Jasper and Zelma Dean Lancaster; and her parents, Elijah Andrew Lancaster and Claudine Kelley Lancaster.

She is survived by : her children, Kay McAteer, Robert E. Smith, Jr. (Rebecca), Mike Smith (Tammy) and David Smith (Vanessa); her siblings, Faye Sessions (Travis), Robert Lancaster and Bobby Lancaster (Laudice); and her grandsons, Trey Smith, Cody McAteer, Robby McAteer, Travis Noland, Kevin Smith, John Smith, Nathan Appleby and Owen Appleby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Carrollton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 145, Carrollton, AL 35447.
