It is with sadness that the passing of Dorothy McCool Bridges of Carrollton, Alabama is shared. Dorothy, born on December 30, 1939, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Burnice O. Bridges; and her parents, Earlie McCool and Louise Butler McCool. She is survived by: her children, Laura Bridges Smith (Tommy) of Tuscaloosa, Timothy O. Bridges (Karla) of Gordo and Robert Tracy Bridges (Lisa) of Aliceville; her siblings, Robert Earl "Bob" McCool (Barbara) of Northport and Brenda Watkins; her grandchildren, Rachel Preiss (Trent), Riley Bridges and Rhys Smith; and her great grandchild Holland Preiss. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other friends.
