She was predeceased by: her husband Harold P. "Bill" Nicely'; her brothers, John Mark Clay and Leslie Paul "Doobie" Clay; her nephew John Michael Schultz; and her parents, John Olan Clay and Alice Magnolia Acker Clay.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Tilley of Gordo, Tammy Crews (Ernest Wilson) of Haleyville and Kenneth Doug Nicely (Tabitha) of Ethelsville; her siblings, Renee Schultz (Randy) of Dennis, MS and Olan Clay (Betty) of Gordo; her grandchildren, David Tilley, Jr. (Jessica), Taylor Jones (Aaron), Kevin Nicely (Braylin) and Delany Nicely; and her great grandchildren, Camdyn Tilley, Emma Nicely, Dawson Jones and Kenzlee Jones.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carrollton United Methodist Church (87 Tuscaloosa St, Carrollton, AL 35447). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
