It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy McDaniel Halbert of Carrollton, Alabama, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Cecil E. McDaniel; her husband William Thomas Halbert; her children, Connie Sue McDaniel Cameron and Benjamin Cecil McDaniel; her brother Charles Abston; and her parents, Charles Norman Abston and Mary Alice Bambarger Abston.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Ann Hollis (Aaron); her siblings, Dot Barrentine, J. T. Abston (Frances), Tommy Abston (Janith) and Richard Abston (Betty Carol); her grandchildren, Shawn McDaniel (April), Michael Strawn (Lauren), Susan LaGrone (Doug), Dillan McDaniel (Lauren), Blake Hollis, Brandon Hollis (Kaylee), Bryan McDaniel and Lucas McDaniel; her great grandchildren, Noah McDaniel, Eli McDaniel, Bryleigh McDaniel, Charlie McDaniel, Cambry McDaniel, Cameron LaGrone, Christian LaGrone, Libby Strawn and Harlan Strawn; her caregivers, Mary Wright and Elysia Miller; and her daughter Lee Ann Fields (Debbie Strickland).
