He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Johnson Sutton; his siblings, Murray, Marvin, Melvin, Mike, Max Sutton and Mary McGarity; and his parents, Floyd Sutton and Lena Pate Sutton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vanessa Smith (David) of Gordo, Charlotte Watkins (Milton) of Carrollton and Candace Rinehart (Blake) of Coker; his siblings, Marshall Sutton (Faye) of Gordo, Morris Gene Sutton of Carrollton, Marty Sutton (Glenda) of Elrod, Margie Woolbright (Terry) of Gordo, Melba Parish of Eutaw, Mable Price (Ricky) of Satsuma and Mickie Kerr of Fresno, CA; and his grandchildren, Lynn Smith (Matthew Tackett), Alexis Watkins, Emily Watkins and Tanner Rinehart (Linda Ferguson).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dogwood Chapel (200 5th St NE, Aliceville, AL 35442). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Liberty Cemetery Fund, 125 Porter Road, Gordo, AL 35466.
