He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Jerome and Mary Janes Sawyer; and his daughter Christy Sawyer. He is survived by: his children, Jason (Heather), Valerie Smith (Joseph) and Cain; his siblings, Keith Sawyer (Ramona), John Sawyer (Susan), Marty (Gidget) and Lenora (Gerrard); his grandchildren, Blake, Lucas, Amie, Autumn, Damian, Hayven and Triniteigh; and his close friend Ricky Kast. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (2353 South Blvd, Brewton, AL 36426). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
