John Weaver Obituary
We announce the death of John Weaver of Castleberry, Alabama, who passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 88. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Gray Weaver; his son John Thomas "Johnny" Weaver, Jr.; his parents, Edward Weaver and Myrtle Weaver; and his siblings, Agnes Weaver Johnson, Martha Weaver Hooks, Frank Weaver and Rogers Weaver.
He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Weaver Clark (Louis); his siblings, Judy Baker and Loreze Weaver; and his grandchildren, J. T. Weaver, Peyton Chance (Wesley), Tyler Godwin (CJ), Ryan Godwin and Emily Clark. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members, friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to support the Dolihite Cemetery.
