He is survived by: his wife Lola Belle Dorsett; his son Chris Dorsett (Pam); and his grandchildren, Bryan Dorsett and Sutton Dorsett.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Sand Rock Baptist Church in Mr. Dorsetts memory.
