He is survived by : his wife Teresa Ray; his children, Cassey Ray (Megan) and Mandy Ballard (Mark); his sisters, Sue Mobbs and Margie Adderhold; and his grandchildren, Connor Ray, Ella Ray and Ginna Ray.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at the Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens (5070 Main St, Gaylesville, AL 35973).

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
