He was predeceased by: his grandson Timothy Obenlander; his parent Mildred Grissom Cargle; his stepfather Reno; his sister Carolyn Royer Hicks; his parents-in-law, Hugh and Marjorie Mosely; and his brothers-in-law, Tommy, Jeremy, John Mark Mosely and Billy Vaughn.
He is survived by: his significant other Marjorie Mosely Grissom (Margie); his daughters, Denise Obenlander (Tim) and Debbie Hughes (Frank); his grandchildren, Brad Owens (Brittany), Brandi Lamar (Justin), Sierra Owens, Tanner Hughes (Cheyenne) and Jacey Palmer (Bryan); and his siblings, Sherry Vaughn and Tim Cargle (Tracey). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
