It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Grimes of Centre, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband J. R. Grimes; and her parents, Willie Smith and Vadia Smith. She is survived by : her children, Chuck Grimes (Rhonda), Susan Grimes and Beth Grimes Frazer; her grandchildren, Emily Frazer, Trey Frazer, Amanda Holden (Steven), Halie Grimes and Matthew Grimes; her great grandchild Kaitlyn Frazer; her close friend Patsy Baker; and her caregiver Bree Moten.
