He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sunrich Kerr; his children, Jonathan Wayne Kerr of Brunswick, GA and Gigi Kerr (Rory) Naeve; his granddaughters, Georgia Kerr, Lydia Naeve and Susanna Naeve; his parents, Doyle Kerr and Annie Kerr of Centre, AL; and his siblings, Bradley Kerr (Debbie) of Piedmont, AL, Nancy (John), Bryant of Covington, GA and Cindy Kerr of Centre, AL. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Master Gardeners of Cherokee County and/or McCords Crossroads Homemakers Club.
