He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Henry and Willie Mae Gwen Powell; and his siblings, Gerald Henry Powell and Willyne Powell Mansfield. He is survived by: his wife Frankie Smith Powell; and his son Phillip Powell. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Centre First United Methodist Church (341 W Main St, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
