He was predeceased by: his parent Venice Peek; his siblings, Sara Jo Peek, Wayne and Sammy Peek; and his half-brother Emory Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanora Hansard Peek; his children, Teresa Rogers (Stan), Darren Peek (Susan) and Richard Peek (Amy); his sister-in-law Juanita Hansard Peek; and his brother Bryant Peek. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home (927 E Main St, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cherokee Memory Gardens (1250 Piedmont Hwy, Centre, AL 35960).
