She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth "Harold" Hicks Jr.; and her parents, Clearance Lee Roden and Lassie Lelola Roden. She is survived by: her daughters, Larissa Rice and Trina Wells; her stepsons, Todd Hicks and Chris Hicks; and her close friend Nelda Davis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
