With sadness, we share the passing of Edna Steed of Centre, Alabama. Edna, born on March 12, 1931, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Edna for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Conn and Lucille Conn (Gossett); and her husband Ben Hollis Steed. She is survived by: her children, Carla McGill (Jimmy), Hollis Steed (Nancy) and Belinda Crane; and her brother J. L. Armstrong (Marsha). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a large circle of other family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cherokee Memory Gardens (1250 Piedmont Hwy, Centre, AL 35960).
