He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion McGatha and Maebell McGatha. He is survived by: his wife Sue Steele McGatha; his daughters, Joan Cothran (Don) and Joi McBride (Darrin); his granddaughters, Misty Davis (Daniel) and Mandy St. Clair (Dustin); and his great grandchildren, Jack Davis, Joleigh Davis, Clayton St. Clair and Cooper St. Clair. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests no flowers. Donations can be made to the Centre Congregational Holiness Church or Enhabit Hospice.
